In Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, Juliet says,” What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” Lenders tend to call them BPOs (Broker’s Price Opinions). In MD, we call them CMAs (Comparative Market Analyses). Essentially, it is a CMA by another name. Licensees can hone their CMA skills by delving into and understanding the construction of a BPO. This class will also assist the licensee in providing the BPO services to lenders, homeowners, and, in some cases, courts.
At the end of the course, the participants receive 3 elective hours of MD CE credit towards their renewal.
This class is required for Real Estate individuals who either have a brokers license, are a office branch manager, or are a team leader looking to fulfill their license renewal requirements for Maryland.
