What you need

CE & post-license education

New salespersons: 25-hour post-license

Complete a GREC-approved 25-hour Sales Post-License course within your first year of licensure and pass its exam with at least 70%. Missing this requirement causes the license to lapse.

Every renewal: 36 hours

Complete 36 hours of GREC-approved CE each four-year renewal period. At least 3 hours must be from a course approved for License Law credit.

Good to know

Renewal timing

  • Georgia licenses renew every four years and expire on the last day of your birthday month.
  • You can renew up to 120 days before your expiration date.
  • Licensees grandfathered by GREC are exempt from CE.
